Betby has strengthened its Latin America expansion plans by appointing Rocio Moitino as new Head of Sales for the region.
Predicting that its regionalised approach in the LatAm markets will ‘bear dividends’, the company intends to enhance its commercial department via Moitino’s appointment, with the new hire set to join Rosaire Galea Cavallaro in Betby’s sales division.
In particular, Betby has highlighted the popularity of its fully managed sportsbook solution as a key driver of LatAm growth, as well as the Betby Games range of esports titles which are ‘gaining traction’ across the region.
“This project at Betby is hugely exciting and ambitious and I’m delighted to be a part of it,” the new LatAm Head of Sales remarked.
With an exceptional product, top-tier customer service and a hard-working ethos, it is an opportunity that I can’t wait to get started with.”
Moitino will coordinate LatAm sales from her base in Uruguay, representing Betby and its growth strategy across the South American continent, and leveraging her 10 years industry experience, having most recently served as Senior Business Developer at Sportingtech.
The appointment of Moitino follows on from the promotion of the aforementioned Cavallaro as Betby seeks to strengthen its international sales team. Cavallaro will be stationed at the firm’s Malta office, with responsibility for driving its European commercial expansion strategy.
Chris Nikolopoulos, Chief Commercial Officer at Betby, said: “We’re always looking to add talent to our team and we’re very happy to be welcoming Rocio to Betby.
“Latin America is already a very successful market for us and with Rocio’s addition, I am sure we will be expanding our commercial presence in one of iGaming’s most exciting regions.”
