Entain has opened a new office space in London, detailing that the workplace will play a key function in its ongoing plans for growth, development and innovation.
Located in Stratford, East London, the centre includes an esports player zone, media studio, a sports cafe and a grandstand, with the goal of driving excitement around internal events and fostering cooperation.
The international betting operator set out an ambition of providing its employees with a ‘collaborative, productive and innovative place to work’, with 500 of its creators, traders, retail and brand team members working at the centre.
Andy Hicks, Retail Managing Director, UK & Ireland at Entain, said: “We set out to develop a workplace that embodies the spirit of who we are as a global business, with innovation and collaboration at our core.
“Including features such as wellbeing spaces, collaborative hubs and the latest technology, we were able to create an environment that not only enables all of our colleagues to thrive, but also create and deliver fantastic experiences for our customers.”
As the company seeks to become a ‘global leader in innovative entertainment’, the launch of the new office follows on from the Ennovate innovation centre opening in January, marking the introduction of two major workplace hubs for Entain since the beginning of this year.
Backed with a £100 million investment, the hub aims to encourage collaboration between UK, European and international partners, whilst probing the benefits of investigation of the Non-Fungible Token (NFT), Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality landscapes.
A lab is due to open in Charterhouse Square, Farringdon, London, as a location for Entain’s innovation team that will work alongside its commercial and not-for-profit partners.
A key objective for Entain for the remainder of this year is to engage its brands with wider audiences and further optimise its multi-million-pound sports sponsorship portfolio, supported by the company’s new London locations.
