Spotlight Sports Group seeks a new B2B Director, as incumbent Eugene Delaney has confirmed his departure from the sports data and betting content provider.
Delaney confirmed via a LinkedIn update, that he had ended his seven-year executive tenure with Spotlight Sports to become the Managing Director of PA Betting Services – a role he took over this week.
A key member of Spotlight Sports’ senior management team, Delaney joined the business in 2014 and was charged with heading up Racing Post’s B2B division.
His tenure coincided with the reorganisation of the business in 2017, which saw the merger of the Racing Post editorial services with Apsley affiliate websites, ICS data solutions and the ANZ Bloodstock index to establish the Spotlight Sports business.
In his role as B2B Director, Delaney oversaw the growth and strategic direction of Spotlight Sports enlarged B2B services and secured the new international clients of Sportal365 Media, Star Sports, Future Plc and Diario AS.
