Live casino provider Ezugi has secured its entry into the British market, operating under the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) licence of its parent company, Evolution Gaming.
The brand, which has been part of Evolution since 2018, will hold UKGC, games, studio and security accreditations, with 11 of its games identified as being ‘most in-demand’ fully certified for launch.
Lauding the development as a ‘noteworthy and extensive market entry’ for the brand, Evolution aims to appeal to a wider audience of both operators and players via Ezugi, utilising a combination of traditional and localised casino offerings.
“This is a very significant step for Ezugi and its growth,” said Pang Goh, Business Development Director at Ezugi. “Obtaining the UKCG certificates signifies our continuous efforts to reach the absolute highest industry standards.
“Our license is acquired under Evolution Malta Limited, and we are pleased to have our best games finally certified. I believe that UK operators will benefit from Ezugi’s expertise in not only localised content and markets, but also from our large and innovative games offering. We are looking forward to this next chapter and to providing our best performing games to UK players.”
Games included in Ezugi’s UK igaming offering will include established casino titles such as roulette, auto-roulette, blackjack, unlimited blackjack and baccarat and slot titles such asAndar Bahar, Teen Patti, Bet on Teen Patti, Lucky 7, Dragon Tiger and the newly launched Cricket War.
The development marks a positive start to the year for Evolution following strong trading in 2021, with the firm’s acquisitions of NetEnt and Red Tiger from the previous year identified as core revenue drivers.
