From 55% to 75% share: how EveryMatrix delivers for tier one clients

With ICE 2026 just weeks away, at EveryMatrix we’ve been working alongside our tier one customers to curate a series of success stories, showcasing how outstanding technology can significantly and sustainably grow operator and lottery brands.

At this year’s international gaming event in Barcelona (stand 2Q50) visitors, clients and prospects looking to switch from underperforming legacy platform technology to our advanced turnkey solutions, will be able to touch, listen and learn about our customers’ success at their leisure within a dedicated area. 

Below is a preview of just three of those stories: powering a new era of sports betting in a newly regulated market with the Hungarian National Lottery and digital brand TippmixPRO; Building a UK Turnkey powerhouse with challenger brand BetTom; and providing a responsible gambling experience to millions of Norwegians with Norsk Tipping.

TippMixPRO – Hungarian Lottery

This was one of our largest projects involving multiple teams, a bespoke approach and a laser focus on customer-centricity.

Founded in 1991, Szerencsejáték Zrt is Hungary’s state-owned lottery and gaming provider has more than 7,700 retail outlets nationwide, offering everything from lottery tickets to sports betting.

When the country’s online sports betting market opened to competition in 2023, Szerencsejáték recognised it had an opportunity, as well as a challenge. To thrive in this new regulated area, its online brand TippmixPRO needed a modern, compliant and scalable platform capable of meeting strict technical requirements while also delivering a great experience for Hungarian players.

New regulated market, a new era

The new framework came with major demands around responsible gambling, player protection and data transparency. Any partner would need to demonstrate not only technical prowess, but also the ability to navigate complex regulations and deliver tailored solutions for a state-owned operator under heavy examination.

EveryMatrix was one of 27 suppliers to enter the public tender process. After a rigorous, multi-stage procedure, we were awarded the opportunity to power TippmixPRO with an end-to-end digital sportsbook solution.

Delivering a locally hosted, regulation-ready sportsbook

One of the main conditions was that all customer data had to remain within Hungary. To achieve this, we built a new local data centre, complete with more than 100 servers and large volumes of dedicated hardware.

Responsible gambling was another cornerstone. Working with third-party providers, we integrated robust self-exclusion tools, strict age verification, deposit limits and on-site messaging into the OddsMatrix sportsbook, ensuring full alignment with Hungary’s requirements.

Launching a new chapter

The new TippmixPRO, powered by EveryMatrix, went live in October 2023. Today the brand continues to go from strength to strength. Sportsbook coverage extends to more than 120,000 monthly events, while our Bet Builder product via our sportsbook platform has given players more choice and engagement than ever before. Acquisition and retention were also boosted through bonusing tools, while automated risk management drove efficiency across operations.

What started as a regulatory challenge has turned into a success story that continues to grow as TippmixPRO strengthens its position in Hungary’s newly competitive betting landscape.

BetTom

Introducing BetTom, one of the most dynamic sportsbook-focused brands to enter the UK market in recent years. The brand is built on a simple but powerful idea: to deliver a scalable, personalised betting experience that puts recreational customers first.

To bring his vision to reality, BetTom needed more than a supplier; a platform partner capable of delivering a localised, unique modern gaming experience with player choice and operator control at the heart of it.

Choosing a platform partner for growth

Throughout 2024, the company led an extensive procurement process to find a partner who could support its ambitions and the mix of our global prowess and UK focused acquisition of FSB Technology meant it signed a multi-year deal with EveryMatrix.

With a broad product proposition required, the operator selected EveryMatrix’s full turnkey solution across key verticals of sport, casino, platform and affiliate.

These best-of-breed products deliver unbeatable scale across content, bonusing and data while offering localised features for the co.uk market via a proprietary horse racing platform, UK focused lobby management and affiliate market intelligence.

Given horse racing’s importance to BetTom’s proposition, our proprietary platform was crucial to the partnership, offering full pricing control, integrated bonusing and 24/7 trading team access.

From ambition to acceleration

Since going live BetTom has rapidly emerged as the fastest-growing operator on our sportsbook platform, achieving eight-figure monthly turnover and maintaining strong double-digit profit margins.

Its personalised marketing strategy, powered by our data capabilities and bonusing tools, is driving exceptional player acquisition, consistent retention and high lifetime value.

Norsk Tipping

With exclusive rights to online gambling in the country Norsk Tipping plays a special role in the Norwegian market. Founded to channel gambling revenues back into society, it operates under strict regulations and faces a significant challenge: balancing entertainment and responsibility in a highly regulated market.

In 2016, Norsk Tipping decided it needed a new solution, launching an international tender to find a partner capable of delivering a secure, compliant and engaging casino platform. After a year-long selection process involving 10 providers, the company chose EveryMatrix.

All net profits from Norsk Tipping are allocated to sports, culture and NGOs but its role presents a challenge: balancing entertainment and responsibility. Since going live in 2017, Norsk Tipping has delivered impressive results with its regulated share of online play in Norway increasing from 55% to 75%, while offshore casino turnover dropped by more than half, from NOK 2.75 billion to NOK 1.2 billion by 2023-2024.
