Hollywoodbets and SIS partner in fresh boost for South African market

Live betting service provider SIS (Sports Information Services) has launched its two new 49’s draws with Hollywoodbets to further build on its longstanding partnership with the South African operator.

The latest agreement sees Hollywoodbets enhance its live numbers proposition, offering its players across Africa added daily opportunities to engage with the popular fixed-odds product.

Brunchtime and Drivetime draws will take place at 11.49am and 16.49pm in the UK (BST), which is 12.49pm and 17.49pm in South Africa (SAST), with all draws delivered from the SIS UK studios as an end-to-end product.

The expanded portfolio sits alongside the SIS 39’s and Fast 15’s live draws, which were launched with Hollywoodbets last year and have continued to drive player engagement and increased margins for the multi-content provider of 24/7 live betting services.

Fast 15’s follows a simple format, offering a high-churn live draw with competitive odds. Standing as a more recent product, 39’s provides operators with regular live draws every three minutes, operating as a filler during quieter betting periods while providing bettors with more opportunities to bet and chances to win.

“Our latest collaboration with Hollywoodbets will play a crucial role in continuing to raise the Brunchtime and Drivetime draws profile across Africa, and in turn, strengthening our leading live numbers position across the continent,” said Joe Andrews, Head of Sales – Africa at SIS.

“Alongside the ongoing success of Fast 15’s and 39’s, we are confident the evolution of our 49’s product will resonate strongly with players as an alternative, dynamic offering.”

The launch of the revamped 49’s with Hollywoodbets further extends SIS’ presence, and that of its numbers product, in the rapidly growing South Africa market. It comes just a couple of weeks after a similar launch with Betway South Africa.

Hollywoodbets spearheading South African expansion

The move follows Hollywoodbets’ recent partnership with Greentube, NOVOMATIC’s digital gaming arm, and further shows that the South African iGaming market is garnering more and more international interest.

The sector is set for major expansion and has been tipped to reach a value of around £3.3bn by 2030.

On the deal, Wayde Dorkin, Head of Product at Hollywoodbets, commented: “We are always looking to evolve our product offering and provide customers with compelling, entertaining betting experiences.

“The addition of two new 49’s draws, alongside our existing Fast 15’s and 39’s content, significantly strengthens our Numbers portfolio.

“The entire SIS live Numbers offering has proven its ability to engage our players across Africa, and we are confident the expanded product will resonate strongly with our audience and drive continued growth.”
