Luckbox is set to undertake an overhaul of its core operating systems powered by technology solutions from Aspire Global.
Real Luck Group, the TSXV-listed management company of Luckbox, has entered a strategic partnership with Aspire Global to serve as Luckbox’s lead casino and sports betting systems provider.
The partnership will see Aspire’s BtoBet Neuron platform replace EveryMatrix’s OddsMatrix engine as the lead sports betting technology solution for Luckbox – with Aspire also set to provide Luckbox’s first online casino offering.
“The partnership is a key component of broadening the company’s platform and will add casino games to the Luckbox platform as well as BtoBet’s comprehensive sportsbook solution, including esports,” read Real Luck Group’s statement.
Launched in 2019, Luckbox has been powered by the tech combination of OddsMatrix and Abios esports data solutions, as it looked to become the first mass-market betting platform customised for esports unique audiences.
2020 saw Luckbox secure new working capital following the Toronto TSX Ventures listing of Real Luck Group, which aimed to accelerate the development of Luckbox’s core platforms.
Further changes saw Luckbox promote Thomas Rosander to the position of CEO last May, replacing Quentin Martin.
Rosander said: “BtoBet’s industry-leading sportsbook solutions are key to building and improving the Luckbox product and betting offer by allowing customers to bet on traditional and an extended range esports events.
“The integration of BtoBet’s flexible platform is a fundamental part of our growth strategy and the underpinning of the differentiation that will set us apart going forward. This key part of our growth strategy cannot be overemphasised and properly positions us to become the #1 esports betting destination.”
The partnership has been marked as a significant coup for Aspire who acquired BtoBet last year for €20 million cash – in a move to expand its system provisions beyond online casino gaming
“This partnership is yet another proof point of the strengths of BtoBet’s leading sports solution. We are excited to partner with Luckbox and to support it in its migration from its previous sportsbook provider. We look forward to supporting Luckbox in further strengthening its position as a leading, global iGaming company.” said Tsachi Maimon, CEO at Aspire Global,
