Mark Robson, who has held a number of senior positions at various gambling companies including Bally Technologies, has been named as the new CEO of Eminence Holdings.
As CEO of the Isle of Man-based technology company, he will work with Chief Technical Officer Daniel Keller to deliver an ‘ambitious growth strategy’ as the firm looks to make its debut in the gambling industry.
This strategy includes the development of a digital token, CasinoCoin, designed as a utility specifically tailored to the betting and gaming sector.
“We have ambitious plans to harness the power of blockchain and deliver better experiences for players and operators,” Robson remarked.
“Daniel, Matthew and the team have done an incredible job getting to where we are now and I am delighted to be leading the organisation into the next chapter.”
Robson’s two decades experience in the gaming space has seen him hold senior positions at a range of tier one companies such as Microgaming, SHFL Entertainment and the aforementioned Scientific Games Corporation-owned Bally Technologies.
The new CEO most recently worked as the Isle of Man Government’s Head of eGaming, whilst also co-founding B2B software company Champion Sports – a business based on the island – and serving as CEO of King Gaming for four years.
Daniel Keller commented: “Mark is one of the most experienced and respected executives in the sector and his appointment as CEO is a major coup for Eminence Holdings as we continue to deploy our aggressive expansion plans.
“I would like to officially welcome him to the business and look forward to seeing him lead the organisation through the next stage of its journey towards being an industry leader.”
