OpenBet has moved to strengthen its executive leadership ranks ahead of major imminent changes for the leading tier-1 sports betting technology and platform supplier.
Tech figurehead Florian Diederichsen has joined OpenBet as new CTO, charged with evolving OpenBet’s modular sports betting platform and accelerating the firm’s next cycle of betting innovations.
Diederichsen is the former CTO of DAZN, who oversaw the tech development of the firm’s media platform, which has become a leading sports OTT services operating across all continents.

OpenBet’s new CTO is followed by the appointment of Jessica Feil as VP, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance.
Recognised as a leading US gaming legal expert, Feil joins OpenBet from the American Gaming Association (AGA) where she formerly served as Vice President of Government Relations & Gaming Policy Counsel.
During her tenure at the AGA, Feil led the trade group’s policy counsel to support US states adopt their nascent wagering laws and reform gambling frameworks.

The leadership appointments of Diederichsen and Feil were detailed as key strategic hires for OpenBet as the technology group transitions to its new ownership by the Endeavor sports entertainment group.
2021, saw Endeavor enter the global sports betting market, undertaking its first industry M&A acquiring OpenBet for $1.2 billion from former operating company Scientific Games Corporation
