Detailing an ambition to continue driving growth across its international business throughout the coming year, Pragmatic Play has announced the appointment of a new Chief Operating Officer.
Taking on the position at the igaming content provider is Irina Cornides, as the company aims to maintain its current commercial course of delivering its multi-product portfolio of Live Casino and Bingo games as well as a release rate of five slots per month.
Commenting on her position, Cornides said: “I am delighted to be joining such a talented team; I’ve long admired Pragmatic Play’s meteoric rise and saw first-hand how much players and operators alike love their games.
“I look forward to bringing my expertise to the team and working together to make Pragmatic Play into an even bigger success story.”
Before joining Pragmatic Play, Cornides gained over 10 years of experience in the igaming space in several senior leadership positions, having most recently held the position of Chief Commercial Officer for Asia at Gamesys.
Whilst working for the London-based, formerly LSE-registered gambling group – now part of Bally’s Corporation following a £2 billion merger last year – Cornides was responsible for leading the ‘fastest-growing division within the business’.
CEO Julian Jarvis remarked: “We created this role as part of the next phase in our expansion journey and sought out Irina for her impressive growth track record. We are confident Irina’s accomplished experience will help successfully guide the company to new heights.”
