Genius Sports has appointed Sir Hugh Robertson, Former UK Minister for Sport and the London Olympics, as an Advisor for the company with immediate effect.
The sports data and technology company highlighted Robertson as having a ‘wealth of experience’ which he will bring to the company’s newly formed Business Advisory Council to help identify strategic development opportunities.

Now looking to strengthen the firm’s governance, Robertson previously spent 10 years in the Household Cavalry, and worked with Schroders before becoming the MP for Faversham and Mid Kent in 2001.
Since leaving politics in 2015, the new hire has worked for Falcon Associates and currently Chairs Camelot, the operator of the National Lottery since 2018 and the British Olympic Association.
