Sportradar appoints Brendan Tinnelly as campaign lead for ad:s

Sportradar has hired Brendan Tinnelly as its Head of Paid Social Advertising, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of display and social media campaigns on the ad:s performance marketing platform. 

In his new remit, Tinnelly will lead the development of Sportradar’s paid social media team with the end goal of utilising the ad:s proprietary technology to optimise client campaigns across multiple sports categories. 

Tinnelly joins Sportradar as the company continues to press on with its expansion plans, having registered on the US Nasdaq last year, whilst the ad:s platform he will be responsible for has been leveraged by several betting companies, with Kwiff reporting positive results from using the solution.

The sports technology and data firm has also been working to strengthen its marketing capabilities in recent months, making a number of appointments in this space. Most recently, Andrew Bimson joined as Chief Operating Officer to focus on expansion of Sportadar’s North American marketing, betting and gaming and sports entertainment operations.

Prior to joining Sportradar, Tinnelly acquired digital marketing experience at Meta, where he developed global strategy and drove sales for Facebook’s Real Money Gaming offering. 

During his seven year tenure with Facebook he also gained experience of working with betting companies, assisting with brand building, customer acquisition, market expansion and navigation of regulatory changes.
