A 22-year-old local from Stalybridge enjoyed a Christmas Eve he will never forget after winning a £50,000 National Bingo Game jackpot at Cosmo Bingo Stalybridge.
Ryan made a last-minute decision to join his mother, sister, and girlfriend for an afternoon session at his local bingo club on 24 December — a spontaneous choice that paid off in spectacular fashion.
While playing the National Bingo Game with family and friends, all of Ryan’s numbers were called, securing him the top prize of £50,000. The number 22 proved particularly lucky on the day, matching both Ryan’s age and the final winning number needed to complete the full house.
Reacting to the win, Ryan said he was left completely stunned.
“I couldn’t believe it when all my numbers came up. It was a last-minute decision to come along for some festive fun and I was completely shocked — I was absolutely speechless.”
He said the jackpot had already changed his Christmas and his plans for the future.
“I’m going to put the money into savings, and it’s definitely made this the best Christmas ever. I only come to bingo a couple of times a year, but I’ll certainly be coming more often now.
