Flutter’s tombola Launches First Platform Partnership in Italy

By | July 20, 2025

Flutter Entertainment’s UK bingo brand tombola has entered its first external platform partnership, integrating its bingo offering with Sisal, another Flutter-owned brand operating in Italy. The collaboration sees tombola’s proprietary bingo product made available to Sisal customers via the Sisal website and app.

While the games will carry Sisal branding, the underlying technology and gameplay experience will be powered by tombola’s established online bingo platform. The partnership aims to expand access to tombola’s deep liquidity pool, allowing for larger prizes and jackpot games in the Italian market.

As part of the launch, Super Bingo — a 75-ball format featuring higher-value full house prizes — will also be introduced to tombola players in Italy.

Internal Collaboration Within Flutter

The agreement is being described internally as an example of Flutter’s “Edge” strategy — a cross-brand approach to sharing resources, technology, and expertise within its portfolio. Sisal and tombola both operate under Flutter’s Southern Europe and Africa (SEA) division.

Rosangela Robbiani, Chief Product Officer for Flutter SEA, noted the partnership builds on Sisal’s history of digital product development and reflects broader collaboration efforts across the group’s brands in the region. This initial bingo integration is expected to be followed by further collaboration later this year, including the introduction of tombola’s online casino content to Sisal’s offering. That rollout will include chat functionality and side games that are part of tombola’s typical ecosystem.

Marion Ryan, Managing Director at tombola, called the move a “next step” in the brand’s platform capabilities and highlighted the potential to replicate similar integrations in other markets.

This is a hugely exciting moment for tombola, as we take the next step in our evolution and bring our award-winning bingo product to Sisal’s players in Italy,”

The ability to seamlessly integrate and scale our platform for future partnerships represents a fantastic opportunity for Flutter to transform the bingo proposition, both within our existing markets and beyond.”

The partnership is viewed as a step toward unifying aspects of Flutter’s bingo and casino proposition across its international operations, while offering a more diverse content experience to players.
