The eagerly awaited reopening of Mecca Bingo Luton looks to be that little bit closer this week as Mecca Bingo has announced that the popular Skimpot Road bingo venue is planning to reopen next month, creating 50 new jobs.
Although originally cited for a grand December reopening, Luton’s dabbers will have to wait a few more weeks before being able to visit the newly revamped bingo hall which is set to redefine the future of the Mecca Bingo brand, enticing new and existing customers to experience the next generation of bingo halls.
Having closed for essential roof repairs in October 2020, Luton’s state-of-the-art bingo hall is set to finally reopen.
Fresh New Look
The as good as new bingo hall has a fresh new look. The bingo experience has been upgraded, with enhanced audio, visuals, and graphics, as well as live entertainment and event nights. This is, of course, in addition to the classic bingo games.
The refurbished venue will be decked out in bright and vibrant colours, comfortable furniture, and plenty of spots for those social media-worthy selfies. Patrons to the new bingo hall will be treated to a brand new menu as well. Along with all the favourites there is are new vegan dishes to choose from. All the food is cooked in an open kitchen which includes a chargrill and pizza oven. As well as a new bar offering tasty tipples, there is a café that will offer Costa Coffee.
Tim Perry, General Manager at Mecca Luton, said: “There’s been so much work going on behind the scenes to bring the newest and best bingo experience to customers here in Luton, so we really can’t wait for the grand reveal in the new year!”
Although the date has yet to be confirmed, Mecca Luton will reopen its doors sometime this January. BingoDaily will, of course, keep you updated when it is due to open, but for more information, you can check out the club’s Facebook page here.
