Players across Britain won big this year – but which city came out on top? Mecca Bingo has released new data revealing the UK’s luckiest towns and cities of 2025. The top UK bingo brand paid out £6.5 million in prize money every day across its 49 venues and on MeccaBingo.com, making a total of  £2.3 billion paid out last year.

Glaswegians take the crown as the UK’s luckiest players overall, winning over £7.5 million in-club and a staggering £32 million online this year. Stockton has been revealed as the UK’s single luckiest club, with players banking over £4.8 million on-site. Meanwhile, a player in Chelmsford scooped the largest online jackpot of the year, winning over £398k on a single online slots spin.

Stockton remains Britain’s luckiest single club with £4.8 million in winnings, enough to buy all the Palladium panto tickets 55 times over. Wakefield dished out more than £3.7 million this year. Nearly half (45%) of new members are under 35, showing growing interest from younger players.
