Aristocrat-Confirms-Leadership-Transition-Across-Interactive-and-Corporate-AffairsAristocrat Leisure Limited has unveiled sweeping changes across its senior ranks, signaling a strategic pivot in both its digital and corporate divisions. The ASX-listed gaming giant confirmed that two veteran leaders are stepping down, with two industry veterans stepping in to take on expanded responsibilities.

Slaney Steps In as Malul Prepares to Exit Interactive Division

Moti Malul, CEO of Aristocrat Interactive, will leave the company in March 2026. He joined Aristocrat following its April 2024 acquisition of NeoGames SA, where he had been CEO. Post-acquisition, Malul was appointed to lead the newly formed Aristocrat Interactive unit, overseeing its formation, team integrations, and market expansion.

According to the company, Malul “successfully led NeoGames SA through its acquisition by Aristocrat, and steered the creation of the Aristocrat Interactive business over the past 18 months.”

His successor, Dylan Slaney, will assume the role on November 3, 2025, pending regulatory approval. Slaney, who most recently served as CEO of Light & Wonder’s iGaming division, brings more than 10 years of industry experience, including leadership roles at NYX, SG Digital, and Dunnhumby.

Aristocrat’s Group CEO Trevor Croker praised the appointment, stating: “Dylan’s deep iGaming experience and track record of operational delivery will help us accelerate momentum in Aristocrat Interactive, including building on our market-leading position in iLottery, in line with our strategy.”

Slaney will report directly to Croker and will be based in London as a member of the company’s Executive Steering Committee.

Toohey Departs, French Takes Over Expanded Corporate Affairs Role

Alongside the leadership transition in the Interactive division, Aristocrat also confirmed that Natalie Toohey, its Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, will step down after nearly seven years with the company. While pursuing new opportunities, she will remain available in a consulting capacity during the transition.

Toohey has been credited with overhauling Aristocrat’s corporate affairs and investor relations operations, helping the company strengthen global stakeholder ties and navigate a period of sustained growth.

Croker acknowledged her legacy: “I also want to thank Natalie for her outstanding contribution. Natalie transformed our Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations capabilities and impact globally, while deepening vital stakeholder relationships and playing an important role in the resilience and growth of the business over a sustained period.”

Barry French will immediately step into the newly expanded role of Chief Corporate Affairs & Marketing Officer. With more than three decades of experience across telecommunications, aerospace, defence, and technology, French has held senior roles at Inmarsat and Nokia, managing global marketing and communications teams.

“Barry will further build our reputation and stakeholder relationships, while forging a global Marketing function to better steward our brands and unlock more strategic benefits,” Croker said. French will be based in Las Vegas and also report to Croker.

Continued Growth and Recent Milestones

These executive shifts follow a period of growth and transformation at Aristocrat. The company’s Interactive division recently signed its eighth North American iLottery agreement and saw a revenue jump of 83.8% year-on-year. Meanwhile, Aristocrat Gaming also announced a major brand milestone in July: a global licensing deal for MONOPOLY-themed slot machines, set to launch in early 2026.
