BetMGM has partnered with AGS to release new additions to the popularRakin’ Bacon!slot franchise, rolling out games simultaneously across its online platforms and brick-and-mortar casinos in select U.S. states. This move marks the first time a third-party title has been launched by BetMGM with both online and land-based exclusivity.
The first release,Rakin’ Bacon! Jackpots Bonus Wheel, is already live on BetMGM’s casino apps in Michigan and New Jersey. Players can also find it in person at MGM Grand Detroit and Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. A follow-up title, Rakin’ Bacon! Jackpot Bonus Board, is set to debut in mid-September.

These games are part of BetMGM’s broader strategy to bridge its digital and in-person gaming experiences through an omnichannel approach. According to the company, both versions of the game—online and in-casino—include jackpots, wild multipliers, and tiered progressives, though each features tailored mechanics depending on the platform.

AGS stated the launch reflects its ongoing effort to bring successful retail games into the online gaming environment. The company sees this dual-channel strategy as key to driving player engagement across markets.
Earlier this year, BetMGM reported that nearly 50% of its highest-grossing online slots were also available at MGM Resorts casinos—highlighting the benefits of shared branding across channels.
This partnership follows BetMGM’s strong first-half financial performance, with revenue climbing 35% to $1.35 billion and EBITDA turning positive at $109 million. On the heels of that report, the company raised its 2025 revenue forecast to $2.7 billion, crediting the success of both its iGaming and sports betting operations.
Exclusive Titles Continue to Boost BetMGM Portfolio
Rakin’ Bacon! isn’t the only exclusive slot BetMGM has recently launched. In July, the company teamed up with Atlantic Digital to debut Friends: “The One With the Multi Drop”, a slot inspired by the hit TV show Friends. The game launched in Michigan and New Jersey, with additional states expected to follow.

Legal Setback in Michigan Amid Slot Expansion
While these exclusive launches mark a high point, BetMGM also encountered legal trouble recently. A Michigan Supreme Court ruling favored a gambler who sued the operator over a $3.2 million dispute. The woman claimed BetMGM failed to report a game malfunction promptly after she withdrew $100,000 in winnings. The court determined she could seek damages, citing a delay in BetMGM notifying state regulators.
