Building on the momentum of a record-setting summer, BetMGM Poker and Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa are teaming up once again to host three major fall poker events. The announcement follows the Borgata Summer Poker Open, which saw more than 9,500 entries and distributed over $5.5 million in prize money.
This fall, the spotlight turns to three new marquee events: the Borgata Big, Big Buy Series, Lions of the Atlantic, and the return of the Borgata Fall Poker Open. All three are powered exclusively by BetMGM Poker, which will provide online registration, qualifiers, and same-day tournament entry through its app.
New Tournament Room and Expanded Prize Pools
On September 7, Borgata will officially open the BetMGM Poker Tournament Room, a cross-branded space featuring 18 tables and designed to bridge the gap between online and in-person play. The grand opening will include a VIP deck cutting party.

Debuting September 8, this nine-event series features over $6.5 million in guarantees, including:
- The Big, Big Kick Off (Sept. 8–9): A $2,200 buy-in with a $1 million guarantee.
- Etay’s Big, Big 9 Game Mix (Sept. 9–10): A $2,500 mix event with $250,000 guaranteed, hosted by WSOP finalist Esther Taylor.
- The Big, Big PKO Bounty (Sept. 10–11): $2,200 buy-in and a $500,000 guarantee in a Progressive Knock Out format.
- The BetMGM Big, Big Baller (Sept. 11–12): A $10,000 buy-in with a $500,000 prize pool, with entries credited by BetMGM.
- BetMGM Poker Millionaire Championship (Sept. 13–17): $3 million in guarantees, including $1 million to first place.
Online qualifiers run through September 15, with buy-ins starting at just $5. On-site qualifiers are also scheduled from September 5–12, offering final chances to win seats — including 25 guaranteed spots for the Millionaire Championship.
Lions of the Atlantic: October 8–19
This innovative event connects players from MGM National Harbor and Borgata, offering a $600 buy-in and $2 million guaranteed prize pool. It begins with five starting flights at National Harbor (Oct. 8–12), followed by five more at Borgata (Oct. 14–17). Day 2 resumes at Borgata on October 18, with each qualifying player receiving a two-night hotel stay.
Online qualifiers for Borgata’s flights begin September 1, starting at $5.
Borgata Fall Poker Open: November 3–17
Marking its first return in over five years, the Fall Poker Open joins Borgata’s seasonal Poker Open lineup. With over $2 million in guaranteed prizes, full event details will be released later in September.
