BetMGM is joining forces with Fremantle and television’s longest-running game show, The Price is Right, to launch a brand-new pricing game that gives players a chance to win one of the largest cash prizes in the show’s history.
The new segment, titledThe Lion’s Share, will premiere on September 22 during the 54th season opener on CBS. Contestants can win up to $500,000 in cash, cars, trips, and prizes through a format designed to blend the familiar style of the show with BetMGM’s entertainment-driven approach.
The Lion’s Share: a new twist for contestants
“The Lion’s Share” marks the first custom-branded pricing game in the show’s history and the first addition to its lineup since 2021. Players begin by evaluating the prices of everyday products. Correct guesses earn them up to five balls, which are later collected in a wind tunnel chamber. Each ball corresponds to a prize, though one option carries a “Lose It All” risk. Contestants then reveal their winnings one by one, with the option to stop at any point and keep what they’ve secured.

Expanding collaboration between BetMGM and Fremantle
The partnership builds on abroader multiyear agreement announced in January 2025, which secured intellectual property rights for Fremantle’s iconic shows, including The Price is Right and Family Feud. This deal has paved the way for branded slots, table games, and digital experiences across BetMGM’s platforms.
BetMGM already offers The Price is Right Big Wheel Bonus online, with additional titles such as Fortune Pick and Gold Blitz Ultimate set to launch this fall. Other well-known games like Cliff Hangers, Plinko, The Big Wheel, and Pathfinderare also in development. Looking further ahead, an online casino version ofThe Lion’s Share is expected to debut in 2026.
