As the 2025 NFL season kicks off, Betr is seizing the momentum with two major updates: a full redesign of its daily fantasy sports platform, Betr Picks, and the official debut of Betr Arcade, its entry into the skill-based gaming market. These changes significantly expand Betr’s reach and functionality, offering both casual and competitive players new ways to engage with real-money contests across the country.
Betr Picks, now live in 33 states and Washington, D.C., features a host of improvements designed to elevate the user experience. A reimagined interface, an expanded range of sports including WNBA and international soccer, and a greater variety of player projections are now live. However, the most eye-catching update is the introduction of a 10,000X payout multiplier, making it the highest available in the daily fantasy pick’em space.
A standout addition to the product is the “Mystery Multiplier”, a new feature that allows even simple two-pick lineups—typically returning 3X—to potentially pay out up to 1,000X.
To mark the start of the NFL season, Betr is offering new users $10 in free play, with no deposit required, for the first two weeks. A 50% deposit match up to $200 is also being offered, while existing users will enjoy deposit match bonuses during the same period.
“The Betr app has never been as strong as it is today,” said Joey Levy, Founder and CEO of Betr. “Betr Picks is now a top tier daily fantasy sports pick ’em product despite launching just less than two years ago, and we now have Betr Arcade live in 29 states, giving our customers a new skill gaming experience.”
Launch of Betr Arcade Adds Skill-Based Titles
Alongside the DFS enhancements, Betr has officially rolled out Betr Arcade in 29 states, introducing users to a selection of peer-to-peer skill games under a single-wallet system. Arcade launched with four games—21, Crossout 21, Fruit Match, and 5 Across—which combine card, puzzle, and grid-based mechanics. Players can start with as little as $1.25, with optional free practice modes and skill-matching features for real-money head-to-head play.
“Peer-to-peer skill games are a very big opportunity that many operators in sports aren’t currently focused on,” Levy said. “We think that there’s generally a lot of white space here and room for other operators to come in and innovate and we plan on expanding.”
Betr’s move into the skill gaming vertical mirrors broader trends among competitors like FanDuel, with companies aiming to diversify revenue streams outside traditional sportsbook and casino channels. The company also emphasized that it maintains strict adherence to regulatory requirements for all new product launches.
Building Toward a Gaming Super App
Since launching in 2022, Betr has already awarded over $250 million in winnings, and the pace of innovation appears to be accelerating. Levy hinted that more games will be added to Arcade in the coming weeks and teased the release of new features across the platform in the near future.
“We’re also going to launch additional products in the next few months, as we are building a super app for the emerging gaming verticals,” Levy added. “We’re really excited about it.”
Backed by $100 million in total funding and valued at $375 million as of 2024, Betr continues to grow. Investors include Harmony Partners, 10x Capital, Fuel Venture Capital, and Roger Ehrenberg’s Eberg Capital.
