EuroLeague Extends FanDuel Broadcast Deal Through 2028

By | October 22, 2025

FanDuel and Euroleague Basketball have announced a major extension of their media rights agreement, continuing their broadcasting partnership through 2028. Under the updated arrangement, EuroLeague games will remain accessible to U.S. audiences at no cost, available through FanDuel TV Extra—FanDuel’s ad-supported streaming (FAST) channel—and its over-the-top (OTT) service, FanDuel TV+.

The renewed deal was facilitated by IMG, Euroleague Basketball’s strategic media partner, and builds on a collaboration that began in 2024. Fans in the United States can expect expanded access to Europe’s most elite basketball competition, with FanDuel airing over 100 games per season. The broadcasts will include weekly regular season matchups, as well as postseason coverage encompassing the Play-In Showdown, Playoffs, and the Final Four.

Growing Exposure for EuroLeague in the U.S. Market

“This agreement marks an important step in bringing EuroLeague basketball closer to our fans in the U.S.,” said Alex Ferrer Kristjansson, Euroleague Basketball’s Marketing and Communication Chief Officer. “We are extremely satisfied to renew this agreement, as FanDuel is a key partner in expanding our global footprint and delivering the rich tradition of European basketball to U.S. audiences. After a successful first season, FanDuel’s expanded coverage clearly shows the growing interest EuroLeague is generating among American fans.”

The extension arrives at a time when EuroLeague is seeing considerable growth. The 2025 season marks the first time 20 clubs will participate in the competition—a significant increase from 18 the previous year. The league welcomes new entrants including Dubai Basketball and Hapoel Tel Aviv, the latter having secured a spot by winning the EuroCup.

FanDuel Doubles Down on Premium Sports Content

Michael Shiffman, SVP and Executive Producer of FanDuel TV, expressed enthusiasm about the continuation of the partnership. “We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with EuroLeague, which showcases some of the highest-caliber basketball in the world,” he said. “Bringing this premium content to our fans aligns perfectly with our mission. By making more than 100 EuroLeague games available on FanDuel TV Extra and FanDuel TV+, we’re giving fans in the U.S. an easy, and completely free way to watch and follow Europe’s premier league.”

In addition to coverage on FanDuel TV Extra and FanDuel TV+, select games will also be broadcast via the FanDuel Sports Network and its accompanying mobile app, broadening the ways in which American audiences can tune in.

Multiple Streaming Options for Easy Access

FanDuel TV Extra is accessible across a wide range of free streaming services, including The Roku Channel, Prime Video, Samsung TV Plus, Pluto TV, Tubi, Xumo Play, Vizio WatchFree+, Sling Freestream, and Plex. Meanwhile, FanDuel TV+ is available to anyone with a FanDuel account, and can be streamed via devices such as Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Android TV, or directly on FanDuel.com/watch.

The move to continue airing EuroLeague games complements FanDuel’s broader expansion efforts in the sports broadcasting space. Recently, the company secured a deal with Amazon to serve as the official odds provider for NBA and WNBA games streamed on Prime Video. While this integration does not allow betting directly through the platform, it displays live betting odds during broadcasts, aiming to enhance viewer engagement.
