Evolution Debuts Ezugi as Second Live Casino Brand in U.S.

By | October 8, 2025

Evolution has officially launched its second live dealer brand in the United States, unveiling Ezugi to bolster its presence in the country’s expanding online gaming market. The rollout begins in New Jersey and marks a key milestone in Evolution’s North American growth strategy.

Ezugi Goes Live in New Jersey, Michigan Next

Ezugi’s U.S. entry starts with a live stream from Evolution’s cutting-edge studio in Atlantic City. The brand is expected to reach Michigan next, with a new studio in Grand Rapids set to open in the first half of 2026.

The move adds variety to Evolution’s existing offerings by introducing Ezugi’s distinctive catalog of localized titles and creative takes on traditional casino games. Jacob Claesson, CEO of North America at Evolution, emphasized the significance of this expansion.

“Introducing Ezugi as our second live casino brand in the U.S. is an important step in our North American growth strategy. Ezugi’s distinctive portfolio complements Evolution’s world-leading game shows and live casino range, enabling operators to deliver an even richer, more varied live gaming experience tailored to U.S. players.”

The initial Ezugi lineup includes EZ Baccarat and Ultimate Auto Roulette, both streamed from the Atlantic City facility. EZ Baccarat, a staple at North American land-based casinos, includes the unique “Panda 8” and “Dragon 7” side bets provided by Galaxy Gaming. Ultimate Auto Roulette features a chromakey-powered circus environment designed for visual immersion.

New Games and Studio Expansion on the Horizon

As part of its future roadmap, Evolution also plans to debut Revolution Roulette, a twist on the classic game that introduces physical multiplier pockets offering 2x, 3x, and 5x payouts. All titles are integrated using Evolution’s One Stop Shop (OSS) platform, enabling quick deployment across licensed operators.

In addition to its core roulette and baccarat offerings, Ezugi’s Michigan studio will feature upcoming releases such as Ultimate Roulette and 000 Roulette, both set to launch in 2026. Furthermore, the company aims to introduce Marble Race to U.S. audiences—a five-marble RNG-based racing game played on a custom-designed track, complete with branding opportunities for operators.

Ezugi Expansion Aligns with Wider Evolution Strategy

This U.S. launch comes shortly after Evolution released its Crazy Time game in Connecticut and follows the company’s broader trend of global expansion. Earlier this year, Evolution opened its first live casino studio in São Paulo, Brazil, deepening its presence in the Latin American region.

Evolution’s momentum extends beyond product rollouts. This week, a Nevada district court granted the company arbitration in its ongoing patent dispute with Light & Wonder. The two parties have until the end of the month to file a joint update as they pursue an out-of-court resolution.

With Ezugi’s official debut and Michigan’s launch on the horizon, Evolution is positioning itself to deliver a richer, more diverse live dealer experience tailored to the evolving demands of regulated U.S. markets.
