We were lucky enough last year that Evolution, through its subsidiary Ezugi, picked EZ Baccarat from all of the many competitors out there and put it online. We keep adding new markets and we know this is going to be a powerful boost for the brand.”
EZ Baccarat offers a commission-free version of the traditional game, distinguished by popular side bets like Dragon7 and Panda8. The format removes the typical 5% commission on Banker wins, substituting a “push” when the Banker wins with a seven-card total—accelerating gameplay and enhancing user experience.
Legacy Game Finds New Life Online
Seventeen years after its initial release, EZ Baccarat continues to attract both loyal fans and new players. “After all this time, a multitude of fans play in 150 land-based casinos across North America and have been actively seeking out their favorite game – EZ Baccarat – online, and now they’re finding it,” said Tejeda.

In 2023, The Talisman Group handed over distribution responsibilities to Galaxy Gaming. The collaboration bore fruit in July 2024, when Evolution announced an $85 million acquisition deal for Galaxy Gaming, reinforcing its strategic grip on the U.S. market. Meanwhile, Galaxy has launched its own version of the game across North America, offering optional progressive wagers that appeal to players and operators alike.
