FanDuel Expands Reach Through Amazon and West Virginia Partnerships

By | October 2, 2025

FanDuel is expanding its U.S. footprint with two major initiatives: a multi-year collaboration with Amazon to integrate live betting features into NBA and WNBA broadcasts on Prime Video, and a new market access arrangement in West Virginia with Delaware North’s Mardi Gras Casino & Resort. These moves reflect FanDuel’s dual strategy of connecting with fans via media innovation while solidifying its state-level operations.

Bringing Live Odds to Prime Video

This season, NBA and WNBA fans watching Prime Video can opt in to see live FanDuel odds and personalized bet-tracking during broadcasts. The partnership makes FanDuel the official odds provider for basketball on the platform and allows fans to link their Prime Video profiles to their FanDuel accounts. Active bets will appear on-screen with real-time updates of wins, losses, and progress. An “Odds View” overlay displays rotating lines for moneylines, spreads, totals, props, and parlays. Bets cannot be placed directly on Prime Video.

Mike Raffensperger, FanDuel President of Sports, said: “Our partnership as the official odds provider for NBA and WNBA on Prime Video represents a significant milestone in how we connect with basketball fans. By integrating custom content into Prime Video’s NBA broadcasts, we will enhance the fan viewing experience and connect with new audiences.”

Amazon highlighted the feature as part of its storytelling approach. Danielle Carney, Head of U.S. Video and Live Sports Sales at Amazon Ads, noted: “By prioritizing innovation and storytelling, we can create unique opportunities for brands to connect with their audiences that are more meaningful.”

Six-time NBA All-Star and NBA on Prime analyst Blake Griffin will serve as a FanDuel ambassador, appearing across campaigns, social media, on-air segments, and live events.

West Virginia Market Access Shift

FanDuel is also reshaping its operations in West Virginia. After five years with The Greenbrier Casino Club as its online market access partner, FanDuel is now teaming with Delaware North via Mardi Gras Casino & Resort in Cross Lanes. While FanDuel will continue operating The Greenbrier’s retail sportsbook, its online sports betting and iGaming operations will flow through Delaware North.

This change follows Delaware North’s previous partnership with WynnBet, which ended after WynnBet shut down U.S. online operations in 2024. Mardi Gras Casino & Resort offers a retail sportsbook powered by Delaware North’s Betly brand.

Jonathan Edson, FanDuel Senior VP of Business Development, said: “Delaware North has been a respected name in gaming and hospitality for decades, and they are an ideal partner as we continue to operate in West Virginia.”

Lee Terfloth, Delaware North Chief Interactive Gaming Officer, added: “We love working with FanDuel and are very proud to be partnered together in West Virginia. This partnership represents the best of what Delaware North strives for, bringing trusted, innovative experiences to our customers – and FanDuel is an incredible ally in that mission.”

Strengthening Media and Market Presence

Through Prime Video integration and the West Virginia partnership, FanDuel is solidifying both its media visibility and operational foundation. These developments allow the operator to engage fans in real time while maintaining a competitive presence in regulated state markets, reinforcing its leadership in the fast-growing U.S. sports betting industry.
