BetMGM has secured an exclusive position in Ontario’s regulated online casino market through a new agreement with Swedish game developer Gaming Corps. Announced on January 12, 2026, the deal makes BetMGM the first operator in the province to host Gaming Corps’ complete catalog of games. The exclusivity will apply for an initial period before the content is distributed more broadly across the market.
The partnership gives BetMGM temporary access to content unavailable elsewhere in Ontario. For Gaming Corps, the agreement marks its first entry into the province and advances its expansion plans in North America.
Exclusive Rollout of Full Game Portfolio
Under the agreement, BetMGM Casino players in Ontario gain access to the entire range of Gaming Corps titles from the outset. The portfolio includes well-known releases such as 3 Pigs of Olympus and Gates of Hellfire, along with several of the studio’s proprietary game mechanics. Among them are A-MAZE-CADES™, described as fast-paced and high-energy, and the Smash4Cash™ instant-win series.
The lineup also incorporates Gaming Corps’ X-MY-WAY™ challenge system, which introduces interactive elements that allow players to influence how certain games unfold. This feature appears in titles such as Hoop Champion and Golf Champion, adding decision-based components that differ from traditional slot-style gameplay.
By securing exclusivity for the initial launch phase, BetMGM gains the opportunity to differentiate its Ontario casino offering while Gaming Corps benefits from concentrated exposure through a single, established operator.
Strategic Importance of Ontario Entry
Company executives described the Ontario market as a central focus for growth.Adam Pentecost, Chief Revenue Officer at Gaming Corps, highlighted the significance of the launch and the choice of partner. He said: “Ontario has quickly become one of the most exciting regulated markets in North America, and we’re thrilled to be making our debut with BetMGM as our first operator partner in the province. The opportunity to launch with such a high-profile brand, on an exclusive basis, allows us to showcase our content to an engaged player base and demonstrate the unique experiences we can deliver. This is an important milestone in our North American expansion strategy, and we look forward to seeing how Ontario players respond to our portfolio.”
The company indicated that the exclusivity period is designed to establish brand recognition and performance data before wider market distribution. No specific timeline was provided for when the portfolio will become available to other operators.
BetMGM Emphasizes Differentiation in Competitive Market
From BetMGM’s perspective, the agreement aligns with its broader approach to securing unique content within regulated jurisdictions. Oliver Bartlett, Vice President of Gaming at BetMGM, pointed to exclusivity as a factor in attracting and retaining players. He said: “Exclusivity matters because it gives our players something they can’t find anywhere else and sets us apart in a competitive market. Gaming Corps’ engaging and interactive content portfolio is a fantastic addition to BetMGM Casino.”
Ontario’s iGaming market has seen continued growth since regulation, with operators competing through content variety and proprietary experiences. The addition of Gaming Corps’ full catalogue gives BetMGM a distinct offering during the exclusivity window while introducing Ontario players to a developer that has not previously operated in the province.
