Playtech, a technology leader in the online gambling industry, has announced a new partnership for its cutting-edge iPoker.EU Network with La Française des Jeux (FDJ), one of the most prominent operators in France.
The most recent agreement penned by the London-headquartered gaming giant is another significant move that clearly shows its continued growth as a top-tier poker supplier across the expanding French market. The latter generated a staggering €10,7B in 2021 alone, boasting a YoY increase of 7%, according to the data provided by reliable sources.
Looking Forward to a Long Partnership
After revealing several partnerships focused on the UK and Sweden markets, including the launch with 10bet in June, Playtech has enhanced its already strong position in France.
The deal will see FDJ take advantage of the complete services and content offered by the state-of-the-art iPoker network, including cash tables, poker tournaments, and the software developer’s flagship game Twister Poker.
Marat Koss, VP of Interactive Gaming at Playtech, comments:
“We are very proud that FDJ has chosen Playtech as its partner. The addition of FDJ to our iPoker.EU is a vital step in the network’s expansion as the buoyancy of the French online gambling market continues, where we get to showcase our extensive product and technology range. We look forward to a long and successful partnership with FDJ.”
Richard Courtois, CEO of Sports Betting and online gaming open to competition, adds:
“Playtech has a great track record as a poker network and content provider in Europe’s regulated markets, and the company’s involvement in our selection process demonstrated a clear commitment and a deep understanding of our long-term strategy in France.
“Thanks to Playtech, we are pleased to offer our players a new range of games. This move enables FDJ to complete its presence in the French online gaming market open to competition, based on a business model that combines performance and responsibility to keep gaming fun”.
iPoker Network
Playtech takes pride in its unrivaled omnichannel poker offering, which is fully deployed on the iPoker.EU Network, which is also considered the largest of its type. Available across all platforms, including native mobile iOS & Android, Desktop PC, HTML5 web, and HTML5 mobile, the software is compliant with the strict regulations of many European countries.
The company has a lengthy list of partners not only in the UK, Italy, Spain, France, Denmark, Belgium, Austria, and Finland, but it also works with popular brands such as PokerMatch that operate across eastern European markets. The network is known for having more than 35,000 concurrent players at peak times and a vast array of tournaments.
