Light & Wonder Expands Its Partnership with Rush Street Interactive to Debut in Mexico

By | October 3, 2022

Light & Wonder, a legendary US-based provider of land-based and online casino products and services previously known as Scientific Games, has further expanded its partnership with Rush Street Interactive to debut in the regulated Mexican market with RSI’s popular RushBet brand.

The newest agreement will see a broad range of engaging in-house and third-party titles launched at RushBet through the OpenGaming network that connects gambling websites and the world’s leading content studios to give players the biggest and most diverse choice of games.

The result of the RSI’s exclusive partnership with Mexican media conglomerate Grupo Multimedios, RushBet.mx is available for more than 130 million players in Latin America’s third-largest country.

Online Debut in Mexico

Light & Wonder, a renowned supplier of premium games for brick-and-mortar and online casinos that recently appointed Matt Wilson as interim CEO to guide the company’s leadership transition, has taken its content into the regulated Mexican market. This was made possible by the partnership with Rush Street Interactive, which is present in the country with its popular RushBet brand.

Tatiana García Barrenechea, Commercial Director – LATAM, at Light & Wonder, commented:

“Light & Wonder is honored to enhance its partnership with RSI, a proven and respected force in the gaming industry, to take content into Mexico for the first time. This expansion into one of the top-performing markets in Latin America furthers our quest of becoming the leading content aggregator in the region. We believe that our localized offering, including games heavily influenced by trends in the land-based market, will prove popular with players and significantly further the goals of both parties.”

Bringing Top-Class Casino Games

RSI’s RushBet went live in Mexico in July, catering to a huge audience of over 130 million. The partnership with Light & Wonder lets RSI offer players an even bigger and more diverse assortment of action-packed slots.

Among the first titles to hit the market are 88 Fortunes, Marvellous Mouse, BTG’s Bonanza Megaways, and Hypernova Megaways from ReelPlay. In addition to that, players will be able to test Dragon Palace made by Lightning Box, an innovative studio that joined the L&W family earlier this year.

Richard Schwartz, Chief Executive Officer at RSI, said:

“Light & Wonder has become a global leader in the gaming world by providing a portfolio of the highest quality that resonates with players. We are excited to be able to bring top-class, highly popular casino games to players in Mexico and we look forward to further expanding the catalog of games for players in the country in the coming months.

“We have seen the popularity of land-based favorites through RSI’s casino sites in the U.S. and Colombia and fully expect our players within the market of Mexico to thoroughly enjoy the entertaining slot games Light & Wonder has to offer.”
