The world’s leading providers of online casino slots, NetEnt and Red Tiger announced on Friday a new deal with Supabets, a prominent gambling company that operates across South Africa, Ghana, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. The newly penned agreement makes Supabets, which is licensed by the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator, the first brand in the rapidly growing South African market with a slots selection. Initially, players will be able to take advantage of 175 top-notch titles created by the two world-famous developers.
Ecstatic to Finally Have Green Light from MER
Soon after the global premiere of Space Wars 2 Powerpoints at the very beginning of the month, NetEnt has more great news for slot buffs. Together with Red Tiger, another Evolution brand, it has signed a new deal with Supabets, a successful African-based casino and sportsbook operator, to launch their universally popular slot games.
Licensed by MER (the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator), Supabets is managed by Intelligent Gaming, a Playtech company that provides management systems to retail gaming operators. Acquired by one of the iGaming giants in 2011, Intelligent Gaming is also a Franchise partner for Yggdrasil in South Africa and Africa.
Commenting on the latest deal, Marc Palxton-Harrison, Managing Director at Intelligent Gaming said:
“We are ecstatic to finally have MER approval for the launch of the NetEnt and Red Tiger world class slots offering. We are confident they will do very well with Supabets and we look forward to adding the portfolio to our remaining SA clients.”
Dean Finder, Chief Executive Officer at Evolution Services SA said:
“We are delighted that we have the opportunity to expand our partnership with Supabets and that they will now have access to our portfolio of NetEnt and Red Tiger slot games. We hope their players will enjoy the diversity of the portfolio, as there truly is something available for everyone to enjoy.”
Strengthening the Bonds
The new deal is not the beginning of cooperation between the Evolution Group and Supabets, the latter already features Evo’s award-winning suite of live casino games. However, the launch of slots from NetEnt and Red Tiger will significantly strengthen the bonds between the two companies. According to the plan, 175 titles will be rolled out at the outset to let South African players enjoy numerous player favorites.
Supabets can brag of a pretty diverse library of premium gambling products, also offering games from such top-tier studios as Yggdrasil, Habanero, Spinomenal, PlayPearls, and Pragmatic Play. The latter penned a distribution deal with Intelligent Gaming last year to let local players immerse in its action-packed Megaways slots and engaging live games.
