Octoplay enters Michigan with multi-operator launch

By | January 30, 2026

Octoplay has launched its content in Michigan, completing its second regulated U.S. market entry and its largest coordinated rollout so far. The supplier is now live across BetMGM, FanDuel, Fanatics, and Rush Street Interactive, with all four operators launching simultaneously. The move comes less than six months after Octoplay’s United States debut in New Jersey and places the company directly into one of the country’s most established iGaming jurisdictions.

Michigan ranks among the top three U.S. states by iGaming revenue, making it a strategically important market for suppliers seeking scale. Octoplay entered the state with four tier-one operators active from day one, underscoring the size and pace of the launch. The company described the rollout as a key step in its broader North American expansion.

Founded in October 2022, Octoplay has steadily expanded across regulated markets. The company currently holds active licenses in thirteen jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom, New Jersey, Ontario, Michigan, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Malta, Italy, Greece, Romania, and Slovakia. The Michigan launch builds on this foundation while strengthening Octoplay’s U.S. footprint.

Michigan Marks Next Phase Of US Growth

The Michigan rollout follows closely on the company’s New Jersey debut, reflecting an accelerated approach to U.S. market entry. Octoplay has positioned Michigan as a continuation of that momentum, citing strong operator uptake as a key indicator of demand.

“Just months after our New Jersey debut, Michigan represents the next phase of our U.S. expansion,” says Ralitsa Georgieva, Director of Business Development at Octoplay.“Launching simultaneously with four leading operators shows the confidence the market has in our content. We expect to carry this momentum into additional states throughout 2025.”

Earlier this year, Octoplay ranked first among U.S. rising suppliers by overall index in the first half, according to Eilers & Krejcik. With Michigan now live and further state applications in progress, the company has signaled its intention to continue expanding its North American presence through 2025 and beyond.

Recent Launches Support Broader Strategy

Ahead of the Michigan entry, Octoplay strengthened its position in New Jersey through a partnership with Hard Rock Bet Casino in September 2025. The agreement marked the company’s third major U.S. operator partnership within two months and added Octoplay titles, including 777 Hot Reels and Eggsponential, to the platform.

“Hard Rock Bet’s rapid growth trajectory and strong brand presence make them the right partner for our next phase in New Jersey,” says Carl Ejlertsson, CEO of Octoplay. “We’re excited to build a long-term partnership together as we continue expanding our US operator network.”

Outside the U.S., Octoplay has also continued to grow in Europe. In earlier developments, Novibet introduced Octoplay content to its regulated online casino platform in Greece, expanding local player access and supporting the supplier’s wider European expansion plans.

Together, these launches position the Michigan rollout as the centerpiece of Octoplay’s recent growth, reinforcing its focus on large regulated markets and multi-operator deployments.
