VSiN, The Sports Betting Network, has forged a new content partnership with FanDuel Sports Network, introducing a weekday morning program designed to deliver sharp, engaging sports betting insights to a national audience. The show, “VSiN By the Books,” began airing on August 28 and will run Monday through Friday from 7 to 10 a.m. ET, both via the FanDuel Sports Network app and across nine regional networks.
“We’re thrilled to bring VSiN’s unique sports betting content to the passionate fans that watch their favorite local teams play on FanDuel Sports Network,” said Steve Cohen, EVP of Talent and Programming at VSiN. “This latest expansion of our distribution footprint helps cement VSiN’s position as the leading creator of sports betting content anywhere.”
Expert Hosts, Diverse Guests, and Daily Betting Analysis
The new show pairs seasoned broadcaster Dave Ross with former Major League Baseball relief pitcher Jensen Lewis, offering a blend of credible sports commentary and practical wagering advice. Each episode features breakdowns of the prior day’s biggest betting stories and looks ahead to upcoming action, creating a dynamic mix of news, humor, and storytelling.
The guest roster spans the sports betting ecosystem, including professional gamblers, bookmakers, athletes, and regional sports media personalities, each contributing unique perspectives on the daily betting slate.
“At FanDuel Sports Network, everything starts with the local sports fan,” said Norby Williamson, President of Programming and Production for Main Street Sports Group. “Partnering with VSiN allows us to deliver smart, entertaining betting insights tied to the teams and games our audiences care about most.”
“VSiN By the Books” is available across FanDuel Sports Network regions including Detroit, Florida, Midwest, North, Ohio, South, Southwest, West, and Wisconsin.
Hosts Bring Deep Sports Industry Experience
Before joining VSiN, Dave Ross served as host for NFL, MLB, and UFC programming on Stadium in Chicago and previously spent 18 years covering Washington, D.C.’s pro teams for FOX 5. Jensen Lewis pitched for nine MLB seasons and has since transitioned into broadcasting roles with MLB Network, SiriusXM/MLB Network Radio, and ESPN, while also serving as a commentator for the Cleveland Guardians and radio host in Ohio.
Radio Expansion Reaches Charlotte Market
VSiN’s reach is also growing beyond television. In Charlotte, North Carolina, the network has partnered with WZGV-AM, rebranding the station as InsideTheGame.bet—the city’s first dedicated sports betting radio outlet. The station now offers 24/7 VSiN programming, featuring insights grounded in Las Vegas market expertise.
“This new format is unlike anything in the market,” said Mario Washington, General Manager of WZGV-AM. “Leveraging premier sports betting content from VSiN, WZGV-AM InsideTheGame.bet will be Charlotte’s sports information station.”
VSiN now boasts 350 radio affiliates across 46 states, and CEO Bill Adee noted that Charlotte’s strong sports culture made it a natural fit for this expansion.
Separately, FanDuel is preparing for its official entry into Missouri through a new partnership with MLS club St. Louis City SC. This move follows the state’s decision to issue untethered licenses to competitors like DraftKings and Circa Sports. FanDuel’s team-based agreement allows it to introduce its sportsbook in the state starting December 1.
