International Game Technology has just unveiled that its subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation has bolstered its lottery systems contract to offer futuristic cashless technology for Washington’s Lottery. It will make Washington the seventh U.S. state to take advantage of IGT’s cashless lottery products. This contract extends IGT’s existing contract until June 30, 2029.
Washington’s Lottery is one of the leading U.S. providers of self-service machine deployment, with lottery machines amounting to 45 percent of the provider’s retail offer. IGT plans to implement hardware upgrades as well as to continue with the software development to provide 2,000 lottery vending machines with the cashless feature.
