BAFTA announced that games and esports presenter Julia Hardy (BBC Top Gear Gaming Show, BBC Sounds This Game Changed My Life & CBBC Game on Grandparents) will be joined by four of Twitch’s top streamers to announce the nominations for this year’s BAFTA Games Awards in a special livestream this Thursday 3 March 2023, 14.00 GMT.
The Twitch streamers are Tubbo, CaptainPuffy, Leahviathan and Sharese. The nominations announcement will be livestreamed exclusively on BAFTA’s Twitch and will include discussion of the nominated games.
Julia Hardy said: “Really looking forward to revealing the nominations for this year’s BAFTA Games Awards on Thursday. I also get to chat with some of the most talented streamers about the best games of the year – I can’t wait!”
BAFTA also announced four streamers who join the BAFTA Games Squad, who will costream the nominations and Awards livestreams on their channels and take part in this year’s BAFTA Games Challenge: Lomadiah, Ebonix, SinowBeats and ReadySetBen.

The 19th annual BAFTA Games Awards will take place on Thursday 30 March at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank, London and will be livestreamed exclusively on BAFTA’s Twitch.
