It’s that time of the year when NCAA fans can make their bets and follow their favorite schools to the Final Four. To celebrate this season of March Madness, the BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse sportsbooks are launching NCAA Basketball Squares. Rush Street Interactive, which operates the BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse sportsbooks, is showing its college hoops spirit, announcing this new version of the squares game for bettors. Just like the NFL and NBA versions, it works this way:
The board contains 100 squares, each one representing a combination of final scores. A square contains two single-digit numbers. So, if a square shows a 3 on the bottom left and a 9 on the top right, it becomes a winner if the visiting team winds up with a points total ending in 3 and the home side closes with a points total ending in 9.
Wagers of $20 or more on any game with a Squares icon through the RSI platform rewards the bettor with a randomly selected standard square at no charge. Total wagers of at least $50 on the game results in a second standard square. A third standard square is obtained via total bets of $100 or more. Bettors are notified of which squares they get. Bettors can “boost” their squares for that game if their wagers include $20 or more in live bets on the game.
A winning standard square means $20 in bonus money for that bettor. The potential payout for winning “boosted” squares is worth certain designated amounts ranging from $25, $50, $100, $1000 to $10,000 in bonus money, with the exact amount disclosed after the boosted square has won.
The college edition of Basketball Squares is designed to make watching the fast paced NCAA games even more engaging for bettors by offering a thrilling way to win more.
“March Madness is one of the biggest sporting events of the year, with fans getting together for watch parties at homes, sportsbars and other venues. Even casual basketball fans get into the spirit of these games and BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse NCAA Basketball Squares will make watching the college hoops action even more exhilarating for bettors this season,” Richard Schwartz, CEO at RSI, said.
