Gaming Realms PLC has announced that its first Slingo game has now gone live in Pennsylvania, following the company’s recent award of an interactive gaming manufacturer license in the state.
The game is live in the state via Gaming Realms’ tie-up with BetMGM and the company noted that more games are scheduled to follow shortly.
It said that it will go live with Rush Street Interactive imminently, also in Pennsylvania, and noted that it has agreements with a number of other leading operators to go live with Slingo Originals content.
“We are delighted to be launching our Slingo Originals games in Pennsylvania, which is one of the three leading U.S. states for iGaming and where gambling revenue increased over 60% year-on-year in July 2021,” Michael Buckley, Executive Chairman of Gaming Realms, said.
Gaming Realms, meanwhile, highlighted that it has already rolled-out with both BetMGM and Rush Street Interactive, and other operators, in the states of New Jersey and Michigan. It is also progressing in the licensing process in Ontario, Canada, where it aims to become regulated for iGaming in a market that is expected to exceed any of the currently regulated US states.
“BetMGM and Rush Street Interactive are both major players in the U.S. gaming industry and have been successfully distributing our Slingo content in New Jersey and Michigan,” Buckley said.
“We look forward to strengthening these relationships and securing additional agreements with market-leading US operators to bring our full suite of Slingo games to a new audience in the US.”
He added: “We intend to expand the group further by obtaining an iGaming supplier licence in Ontario Canada, and future US states as they become available.”
