The duo behind Cashcade and Gaming Realms join as the content developer and platform provider enters an exciting new phase of growth
Jogo Global, a fast-growing platform provider and gaming content developer, has appointed Simon Collins as the company’s Executive Chairman, while Patrick Southon joins as a Non-Executive Director.
Together, Collins and Southon have unparalleled entrepreneurial experience in the online gaming space, founding Cashcade, the successful online bingo business behind the leading UK brand Foxy Bingo, which was sold for £96m in 2009.
The entrepreneurs went on to found Gaming Realms, the developer of highly successful mobile-focused content including Slingo, a hugely popular combination of slots play and bingo.
The Jogo Global offering includes a variety of top-performing bespoke fast games, ranging from Crash content through to Mines. Jogo has also seen significant acceleration in the US land-based sector, with the company’s technology and services solutions in high demand.
David Marcus, CEO of Jogo Global, said: “We’ve experienced exponential growth over the past 12 months. To have the support and insight of such legendary industry figures as Simon and Patrick, represents an outstanding opportunity for Jogo to build on this success and look to a yet brighter future.”
Simon Collins, Executive Chairman of Jogo Global, said: “Jogo Global is developing a track record for the highly effective development and delivery of niche gaming products. My time as Non-Executive Chairman has been very fruitful, and I’m thrilled to now become Executive Chairman at the beginning of this promising new chapter.”
Patrick Southon, Non-Executive Director for Jogo Global, said: “I’m very excited to be working with David, Tiago, Simon and the team at this key moment in the company’s development. Operators worldwide are seeing the benefits of the Jogo Global offering and it’s a great time to join this talented and fast-growing team.”
