Norsk Tipping has signed a new four-year sponsorship agreement with the Norwegian Football Association (NFF), Norwegian Toppfotball (NTF) and Toppfotball Kvinner (TFK).
The agreement means that Norsk Tipping will continue as general partner for Norwegian football in the period 2026–29.
It includes, among other things, the senior national teams for women and men, and makes Norsk Tipping the general partner for the Eliteserien and the main partner for the Toppserien. The total framework for the agreement is NOK 60 million.
“Norsk Tipping has been a very important partner for us for many, many years and we are of course very happy and proud that the collaboration continues. Norsk Tipping’s involvement in football and the collaboration with us has been absolutely crucial for the activity we see in Norwegian football today, including through the betting facilities, which have contributed to facilities that make football a mainstay in local communities all over Norway. We really look forward to the continuation and a great collaboration in the years to come,” said NFF’s general secretary, Karl-Petter Løken.
Norsk Tipping and Norwegian football have had a continuous collaboration since 1948. The new agreement thus continues one of the most extensive and long-standing partnerships in Norwegian sports.
“We are proud to continue as general partner for the Norwegian Football Association in the period 2026–2029. Norsk Tipping has a long and strong relationship with Norwegian football, and we look forward to contributing to both big moments at the top level and the important work that happens every single day in clubs across the country,” said Vegar Strand, acting CEO of Norsk Tipping.
“Football brings Norway together – from the everyday efforts in the clubs, to the biggest moments, such as the Champions League final for women at Ullevaal in May and the men’s World Cup the following month. It means a lot to us to be part of this,” he added.
“Football is one of Norway’s most important meeting places, and we are proud to contribute to development both at the top and in the wider community. The collaboration with NFF, NTF and TFK is crucial for us to be able to deliver on our social mission of giving profits back to Norwegian sports and volunteering,” said Linda Eng Strand, Director of Brand and Marketing at Norsk Tipping.
Through the agreement, the parties will work together to:
• Strengthening the national teams, both sportingly and commercially
• Public outreach and recruitment initiatives across the country
• Community projects for both the top and the bottom
• Further development of the Eliteserien and Toppserien as a consumer product
• Matchday concepts and digital content that elevate Norwegian football
“The collaboration with Norsk Tipping enables us to lift both the Eliteserien product and the clubs that run it. We look forward to developing new projects that create more engagement, better match experiences and stronger profiles,” said CEO of Norsk Toppfotball, Jens Haugland.
“We greatly appreciate the long-standing collaboration with Norsk Tipping and the importance the partnership has had for the development of Norwegian women’s football. That Norsk Tipping will continue with us for a new agreement period is very pleasing. We look forward to continued good collaboration and more good initiatives that drive continued growth and development,” said General Manager of Toppfotball Kvinner, Marianne Solheim.
