Betinvest has moved forward to unlock new global markets, having received approval of its RNG from Gaming Laboratories International.

The certification will allow Betinvest to launch its products in jurisdictions requiring a certain level of technical standard and compliance, such as Romania – where the firm already maintains a B2B licence – Croatia and Curaçao.

Ukraine has also been highlighted as a key market for the company, with the country opening its doors to a regulated betting and gaming market late last year.

Speaking to SBC News at the time of the legislative changes – initiated by President President Volodymyr Zelensky – Betinvest Chief Business Development Officer, Alexandra Kalchuk, stated that the Ukrainian sector would provide both opportunities for economic growth as well as a safe environment for its players.

Incorporated in the UK, Betinvest is currently active across Europe, Asia, Africa and North America, employing 350 in-play and pre-match traders to power its in-house software, developed by a team of 260 IT specialists.

The firm has also received NMi certification for its products, which include a sportsbook solution, data feed, lottery and a CRM system, with the aim of providing its clients with a ‘universal online gaming platform’ and both retail and mobile offerings to ‘facilitate maximum market penetration’.

A core focus of the company has been on egaming, which became a particularly significant aspect of its wider commercial strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic, offering the products to operators as an alternative to cancelled sports events.

Following the acquisition of its GLI certificate, BetInvest is expecting a Gaming Associates accreditation for 20 online slot games later this month.
