This month’s SBC Summit Barcelona will be one of 2021’s key meeting points for operators and affiliates, with more than 130 affiliate businesses set to attend the global betting and igaming show.
The event will take place as planned at Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc on 21 – 24 September, as Catalonia and Barcelona are fully open for business events.
It has a host of attractions tailored to professionals from the affiliate marketing sector, including a selection of exclusive evening networking events for members of SBC’s Affiliate Leaders group.
The event has a dedicated Affiliate, Marketing & Media Zone, complete with its own exhibition area, stage and conference agenda, which will feature a collection of specialists ready to share valuable information and ideas that will help affiliate businesses to drive performance improvements.
On 22 September, the content on the Zone’s stage includes panels examining how to effectively utilise social media influencers and micro-influencers, the SEO battle for ‘position zero’, what the perfect operator-affiliate deal should look like, and how to secure an affiliate licence in US states.
The expert speaker line-up includes Bryan Bailey (Director, Casinomeister), Lee Beirne (Head of SEO, Entain), Eitan Gorodetsky (Acquisition Director, Betsson Group), Joaquín Gago (Founder & CEO, BetanDeal Group), Silver Portugov (Chief Business Officer, MrGamble.com), Ruslan Legenzov (Head of Affiliates, King Billy Casino), and Luís Portela de Carvalho (Legal Counsel, Clever Advertising Group).
The following day, the agenda features sessions on the power of interactive content to build better customer experiences, how to navigate Google’s new cookie regulations, the future of Twitch as a player-acquisition channel, and the effective use of streaming as a localisation tool.
Nedda Kaltcheva (Co-Founder and CEO, Tipstly), Gabriele Sarti (Head of Brand, PaddyPower Global), Tobias Svensen (CEO, CasinoGrounds), Adam Fiske (CEO, iRival Media), Marcos Oliveira (Chief Affiliate Officer, Clever Advertising Group), Lorena Rodríguez (Head of CRM, BetWarrior), Dmitry Belianin (Chief Marketing Officer, Parimatch Tech), and Melanie Hainzer (CMO, Wildz Casino) are among the specialists ready to share their insights.
The ongoing importance of affiliates to sports betting and igaming operators will also be reflected on the Summit’s main stage, where XLMedia’s CEO Stuart Simms will deliver a keynote on 23 September. Simms will then join Simon Pilkington (CEO, KaFe Rocks), Cristina Niculae (CEO, Interactive Gaming Group) and Jonathan Edelshaim (General Manager, Natural Intelligence) for an Affiliate Leaders panel investigating what gambling affiliates can learn from their counterparts in other industries.
Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, said: “Affiliates remain a key part of the gambling industry ecosystem, so we are delighted to provide a setting for them to meet, exchange ideas, socialise and connect with operator partners at SBC Summit Barcelona. The conference content also promises to be really valuable for attendees, as it will offer some great insights into the changing nature of the affiliate sector and lots of practical ideas about how to work with the latest trends and technology.”
SBC Summit Barcelona will host three other zones – Sports Betting, Casino & Gaming, and Payments & Compliance – each with their own conference programme and exhibition tailored to meet the requirements of executives from those verticals.
Delegates can also take in the content on the venue’s main stage, which will host a programme of leaders panels and keynotes from speakers including Jette Nygaard-Andersen (CEO, Entain), Fredrik Elmqvist (Founder & CEO, Yggdrasil Gaming), and Carsten Koerl (Founder & CEO, Sportradar).
Those unable to travel to Spain for the event can access a digital version of SBC Summit Barcelona, complete with all conference content streamed online.
