MansionBet has strengthened its sports branding and marketing by becoming the new principal partners of Bristol City FC.

The Gibraltar-based operator’s logo will appear on the EFL Championship club’s home, away and third kits for a second consecutive year – although no branding will appear on youth kits in line with responsible gambling policies.

Furthermore, the agreement builds on MansionBet’s successful viral campaign featuring the ‘One Team in Bristol’ tagline, covering radio, print, social media and outdoor advertising in prominent locations, and ‘resonated with The Robins fanbase’.

MansionBet first partnered with Bristol City as its ‘principal shirt sponsor’ in August 2020,  having previously sponsored AFC BournemouthCrystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur.

“Our first localised Bristol campaign last year, featuring stand out creative, resulted in strong brand awareness and positive fan engagement. We’re looking forward to getting back into the stadium for the 21/22 season and connecting with fans on a more personal level, showing our support for both the club and its loyal supporters through a number of exciting initiatives.”

Additionally, the sponsorship will again extend to Bristol Sport’s basketball and rugby union teams, the Bristol Flyers and Bristol Bears, as fans begin to return to the stadiums of all three clubs.

Justine Kebby, Bristol Sport Group Head of Commercial, added: “We are delighted to confirm our partnership with MansionBet for a second season. We’re excited with their continued support, working with our Bristol City fan base and the Bristol Sport group.

“With over 18 years of industry experience and a long tradition of sport sponsorship, MansionBet brings a huge amount of expertise and creativity to this partnership. MansionBet also takes an incredibly responsible approach to gambling and has won several awards including Best Customer Service Company of the Year (2020) at the International Gaming Awards and Most Responsible Online Gambling Operator (2018).”

Outside of football, MansionBet’s sports marketing has focused heavily on horse and greyhound racing, with the firm striking partnerships with the Arena Racing Company (ARC) and Sky Sports Racing, whilst champion jockeys Hayley Turner OBE and Brian Hughes serve as company brand ambassadors.
