Sports betting games provider ParlayBay has formed an alliance with GRID Esports as it looks to power its next-generation gaming experience.

The link-up between the two will see ParlayBay be able to build and utilise sports betting games for the esports vertical, aided by GRID Esports as its supplier of esports data.

Patrick Nordwall, CEO at ParlayBay, commented: “We are proud to partner with GRID who provide a full package of real-time data, which enables unlimited game creation opportunities for esports betting games.

“We’ll be utilising lightning-fast markets and micro-betting which delivers on our vision for the future of igaming, sports betting, and entertainment.

“The collaboration will serve to further our ambitions to disrupt the market with an innovative, fun and engaging sports betting games proposition. We’re hugely excited to be introducing our content this summer, offering players a remarkable gaming experience.”

Furthermore, the deal will see esports available across ParlayBay’s complete gaming catalogue, which includes Streak, Boss, Gekko, Cut, Greyhound and Rush, in Autumn.

ParlayBay stated that its titles have been designed from the “ground up” and developed to appeal to as wide a demographic as possible, players can experience the UI/UX at the core of all its games, played out using micro betting markets.

Mikael Westerling, CSO at GRID Esports, added: “ParlayBay is a perfect partner for us. At GRID, we believe in the sustainable growth of the entire esports ecosystem which starts with the official-only data sources essential to fuelling next-level innovation and ensuring a top-quality experience for the ones we care the most about – esports fans.

“ParlayBay recognises the importance of working with official rights holders and the innovative approach necessary to cater to the next generation of customers. We are excited to welcome ParlayBay to our partners’ network and are looking forward to powering their project with data by GRID.’’
