Pronet Gaming drives customer acquisition with new widgets

Ahead of EURO 2020 and Copa América, Pronet Gaming has released a new set of sports betting widgets which will help its operator partners drive both acquisition and retention.

The new widgets, which provide customers with “quick access to pre-built accas”, have been localised to particular markets while also being tailored towards mobile betting.

Thomas Molloy, Director of Sportsbook and Trading at Pronet Gaming, said: “Our team has worked extremely hard to produce a full suite of widgets allowing operators and their players quick access to matches, group betting, outrights and specials across both mobile and desktop.

“Attracting customers and keeping them engaged is going to be crucial in what is sure to be an action-packed sporting summer. By taking this initiative and adapting our front-end accordingly, we are able to offer both our partners and their customers a truly superior sportsbook experience.”

Pronet Gaming also revealed that customers will now gain access to its new in-play Match Tracker, which offers statistics, head-to-head data, form guides, timelines and play-by-play visuals – all of which can be used to inform customer bets.

Speaking to SBC News ahead of EURO 2020, Molloy touched upon the wiping of home advantage, where he explained that the return of some crowds – albeit reduced – could be key for home teams looking to gain a competitive advantage.

He said: “One clear trend right across Europe, but particularly apparent in the Premier League this season, is the wiping out of home advantage. With the average home point advantage dropping from just under 0.5 to 0.1 per game, it is fair to say that each fixture has had the feeling of being played at a neutral venue.

“That said, even with stadiums a quarter full, crowds can still generate a lot of noise and it is exactly this sort of atmosphere which we have missed over the past 15 months. This effect can be key to home teams looking to gain that competitive advantage.”
