SIS (Sports Information Services) has entered into its second supply deal of 2022, securing a partnership with Polish operator Betfan.

The agreement will see the global racing data and media rights distributor provide Betfan with its newly launched Esoccer Competitive Gaming esports betting product, part of its wider Competitive Gaming suite of platforms.

By incorporating the product, Betfan will offer its customers the ability to watch and bet on live Esoccer events, with 24 matches scheduled across an eight period each day of the week, although SIS maintains that this will be ‘ramped up to 24/7 coverage’.

The deal follows on from SIS’ partnership with Codere earlier this month, focused around the provision of 24/7 Live Racing Channels to the Spanish-language market orientated operator, specifically targeting Argentina.

Commenting on the firm’s latest collaboration with Poland’s Betfan, Paul Witten, Commercial Director at SIS, said: “We’re very pleased to be adding Esoccer to our SIS Competitive Gaming portfolio and are pleased that Betfan are going live with the content.

“From the initial success of our ebasketball product with Betfan, it’s clear that their customers have really taken to the fast-paced action and multiple betting opportunities that SIS Competitive Gaming provides, and we expect that to continue now they have access to our Esoccer offering.”

SIS launched its Esoccer title with the aim of strengthening its existing Competitive Gaming range, detailing a goal of allowing operators ‘to offer an alternative and exciting form of sports betting’ and bolster their own internal product range.

Betfan’s use of SIS’s ebasketball offering, referred to by Witten, has been lauded as returning ‘significant margins’ for the company, integrating live streamed pictures, commentary, on-screen graphics with betting triggers and data, as well as markets and prices for 15,000 live events.

Mariusz Świętochowski, Managing Director at Betfan, added: “Since partnering with SIS, Competitive Gaming has proven to be a huge hit with our customers, with the high-quality product having helped us to increase engagement and drive incremental revenues.

“Esoccer is very popular so naturally we’re delighted to be expanding our esports betting offering through this deal, while we are extremely confident it will be well received by our customers moving forward.”
