The first iteration of SOFTSWISS’ Tech Race Summit, which bridges the gap between gambling and technology, has been deemed a success after selling out completely.
Taking place in Warsaw, the event brought together around 1,500 leaders across the technology and iGaming industries, which converged to participate and engage with three main live stages – Vision, Solution and Experiment.
Participants represented companies that are at the forefront of some of the biggest trends in technology today, such as AI, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, product development, and high-load systems.
The keynote lineup was of particular interest, bringing on stage some of the biggest names from Tesla, Shazam, and Google.
For one, Dhiraj Mukherjee, Co-Founder of Shazam, examined leadership through major shifts in technology.
Shazam barely survived the 2000 internet bubble, but a combination of passionate founders and visionary ideas eventually led it to success, with one core principle guiding Mukherjee through the journey – “the best way to predict the future is creating it”.
Meanwhile, Javier Verdura, Global Director of Product Design at Tesla, shared his experience of building teams with stronger ownership and accountability.
Other valuable leadership and technology perspectives outside iGaming came from companies like AWS, Oracle, Cloudflare, Fastly, and more, examining performance marketing, real-time systems, and security.
Sergey Kastsukevich, CTO at SOFTSWISS, concluded: “We are grateful to every partner, speaker, and attendee who helped make Tech Race Summit happen. What was especially rewarding was seeing how many conversations continued between the sessions – people were meeting, exchanging experiences, discussing ideas, and finding common ground.
“This is exactly what we wanted Tech Race to create. I hope those connections prove valuable long after the event itself, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back to Warsaw next year.”
