Wag.io rebrands as Mitigatr to implement ‘outside of the box’ approach

Gaming compliance software provider Wag.io has announced its rebranding with new identity Mitigatr, marking a transition into a fully managed affiliate compliance solution.

The new brand identity reflects Mitigatr’s change from being a technology provider to offering tech-enabled solutions and end-to-end services for its igaming operator clients.

Mitigatr’s team stated that the motivation for the ‘significant rebranding’ arose due to ‘affiliate compliance no longer being a simple, tick-box exercise’, having transitioned into a comprehensive and time-consuming process, requiring an ‘outside of the box’ approach.

Astan Morarji, Co-Founder at Mitigatr, said: “Igaming businesses are facing dauntingly complex tasks in respect to affiliate compliance, with a need to execute compliance strategies across multiple channels using advanced technologies.

As part of the rebranding process, Mitigatr has made adjustments to its communication, graphics, logo design and website, and has worked to ensure that its solutions are comprehensive with its competitors.

In order to stand out from its competition, Mitigatr has recently released services such as Exposure, Negative PPC searches, and Social Media monitoring of affiliates, whilst also supplying full-scale compliance monitoring across unknown, private and closed networks – one of the first affiliate compliance providers to do so.

When operating as Wag.io, Mitigatr’s portfolio of partners included international online casino operator LeoVegas, which chose the firm’s software in order to meet the requirements of the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC).
