One lucky lady had one of the best starts possible to the new year after scooping the life-changing £50,000 jackpot playing the National Bingo Game.
The jackpot win was made on Monday evening, 2nd January, at the popular Club 3000 Bingo Coatbridge venue.
The 59-year-old woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, is a dedicated bingo player and regular at the Scottish bingo hall. She said of the big win:
“I am ecstatic about the win, I have been coming to the Club for 16 years since it opened, it is like one big family here. My biggest win to date has been £1,000, so this is absolutely amazing. I am going to spend it wisely, go on a good holiday, spend some on the house and my family. Thank you, Club 3000 Bingo, for a wonderful start of the year”
Coatbridge a Lucky Club
The Coatbridge bingo club holds the record for the biggest-ever jackpot won when one extremely lucky dabber won a whopping £1.2 million playing the much beloved National Bingo Game back in March 2008.
Alistair McBride the club manager, said: “The atmosphere in the club was fantastic. Nights like this are what makes bingo so special, we are so happy for our winner, who is a regular at the club. We will be celebrating soon with a party where she will receive her cheque presentation.”
