By | February 14, 2022

Holidaymakers to Scotland’s Silver Sands Leisure Park on the outskirts of Lossiemouth will have some new bingo entertainment in-store for them after a new bingo license was approved.

Moray Council Moray Council’s licensing board approved an application from the popular resort in one of Scotland’s once most important fishing ports.

Councillor Ryan Edwards (Heldon and Laich, Independent) was very much in favour of the bingo license application by the holiday resort situated on Lossiemouth west beach. Councillor Edwards told the local news:

“It’s great to see businesses adding elements – and bingo is a great addition.

“I used to call the numbers at Silver Sands when I was about 14, and it will be good to see it coming back.

“I’m delighted to support it.”

Currently, visitors to Lossiemouth would have to travel to the Carlton Bingo in Elgin if they want to play a game of bingo. Now bingo can be enjoyed on the Silver Sands campsite owned by Park Holidays UK Ltd along with a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, gym and playground.
