MrQ, the UK Bingo and Casino operator, has been announced as the new shirt sponsor for Watford F.C.
The multi-year contract will see the MrQ logo on the club’s shirts. replacing Stake.com, which sponsored Watford for the last two years.
Watford are currently playing in the second tier of English football, having been relegated from the Premier League in the 2021/22 season.
The multi-year agreement represents a record-breaking deal for an EFL club and is a match-up of two local Hertfordshire businesses. St Albans’ based MrQ is just a 10-minute drive to Watford’s home ground.
The agreement comes just a few months after Premier League clubs agreed to ban gambling companies from sponsoring the front of shirts. This is due to come into effect following the end of the 2025/26 season.
Watford FC and MrQ are delighted to announce a new long-term partnership, which will see the logo of the locally-based gambling company adorn the front of the club’s shirts.
