Buzz Bingo Colchester will reveal the results of a refurbishment at its Osborne Street venue this Saturday, 19 September.
The popular bingo club will mark the special occasion with a Grand Reveal event featuring live music, entertainment and a series of prize opportunities throughout the evening.
Refurbishment Brings Changes to Lounge and Bar Areas
The refurbishment has introduced several changes to the club’s interior, including an updated lounge area with new décor and a more contemporary design.
A mural featuring local landmarks has also been added, reflecting the venue’s connection with the Colchester community.
Another addition is a new bar, named The King’s Horses. The bar is designed to give the venue a more pub-style setting alongside its bingo and entertainment facilities.
Julie Hawley, General Manager at Buzz Bingo Colchester, said the club had undergone a “transformation” and that the team was looking forward to showing the changes to customers.
She added that the new bar and updated lounge had already received a positive response, describing the changes as a combination of the traditional UK bingo experience with a more contemporary setting.
Exciting Grand Reveal Event Planned
The refurbished club will officially showcase its new look during the Grand Reveal on Saturday 19 September.
The evening is scheduled to include 10 chances to win £500, alongside live music and entertainment, with giveaways and other activities
The venue is located at 48 Osborne Street, Colchester, CO2 7DP.
Buzz Bingo Colchester Revamp Part of Wider Investment
The Colchester refurbishment forms part of a wider investment programme from Buzz Bingo, the UK’s top bingo operator.
Chief Operating Officer Stevie Shaves said the company is investing £25 million in its venues over the next few years, with refurbishment and updated entertainment experiences forming part of its approach.
Shaves also pointed to changing demographics around bingo, saying the company has seen increased interest among younger customers, including Gen Z.
