Former S Club star Bradley McIntosh is heading to Buzz Bingo Colchester this October for a special night combining bingo and live entertainment.
Fans of late-1990s and early-2000s pop are being given the chance to see one of S Club’s original stars behind the DJ decks when Bradley McIntosh takes over Buzz Bingo Colchester on Saturday, October 3.
McIntosh will headline an exclusive DJ set at the popular bingo venue as part of a special entertainment night.
The event will combine bingo with live entertainment, giving customers the option to make a full evening of it or simply turn up for the headline DJ performance.
S Club star takes to the decks
Bingo and entertainment ticket holders can enter the venue from 7pm, with the evening getting underway before McIntosh’s appearance.
Those opting for an entertainment-only ticket can arrive from 9.15pm, ahead of the former S Club star’s DJ set.
Tickets for the DJ set start at just £10, while combined bingo and entertainment tickets are available from £15.
The booking gives Colchester bingo fans the opportunity to see McIntosh perform away from the stage on which S Club became one of Britain’s biggest pop acts.
S Club enjoyed a string of major hits during their original run, including Bring It All Back, Reach and Never Had a Dream Come True, and became one of the defining pop acts of the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Buzz Bingo stepping up entertainment
The Colchester booking is the latest in a series of celebrity and entertainment appearances at Buzz Bingo venues as UK bingo operators look to broaden the traditional bingo night out.
Buzz Bingo Colchester has previously welcomed television personality Mark Labbett, best known as The Chaser on ITV’s The Chase, as well as former world heavyweight boxing champion Frank Bruno.
The latest event follows that entertainment-led approach, combining a familiar bingo experience with a recognisable name from British pop culture.
For customers who remember S Club’s chart dominance, McIntosh’s appearance could provide a sizeable dose of nostalgia alongside the bingo.
